Easy, fun recycled crafts for kids

Kids love crafts, particularly when you use recycled items. Our best recycled projects for kids are easy, interesting, and fantastic for home entertainment.

1.Paper Flower Accordions
Paper flowers are bright and enjoyable to create. Follow these procedures to create them in various sizes, shapes, and colors.

Cut 4 pieces of yellow or white paper (depending on daffodil hue) using the first template.
Vertically and horizontally fold the paper in half and open. The bottom should be folded up ¼” and creased.
Turn the paper over and fold it to the top to make an accordion.
Fold the accordion-folded paper in half and tape the central parts together.
Use the remaining 3 papers to repeat steps 2-4.
Create a flower by taping all four together.
Cut a 2″ x 1.5″ orange paper rectangle with little points on one long side.
Roll the rectangle loosely into a tube and attach with a tiny piece of double-sided tape, folding the bottom edge down to flatten.
Your daffodil is complete when you glue the cup you constructed into its center.

2. Organize Window Frames

Use a dumpster-bound window frame as an entrance organizer. Let your kids paint the frame their favorite color before DIYing utilitarian additions like key hooks and tiny accessory holders.

3. Egg Carton Flowers

These vibrant flowers stay longer than genuine ones and need just egg cartons.

4. Paper Flowers

Your kids will love crafting paper flowers to decorate their room. They should fold colorful cupcake liners in half and cut flower and fringe forms. Fold floral wire in half and wrap it around the fake stamen. Pierce three to four paper liners with the wire. Wrap floral tape around the liners’ bases and along the stem to finish.

5. Recycled Robot
Let your youngsters find robot materials in the recycling. They may pile cardboard, tissue paper rolls, canisters, and containers to choose robot components.

6. Toilet Paper Roll Bird Feeder
Birdwatching in spring is lovely. DIY bird feeders attract birds to your yard.

7. Tin Can Planter
After converting a tin can into a silly-faced planter, teach your kids how to cultivate succulents.

8. Bottle-Cap Horse
Bring out your bottle cap collection and let your youngsters make a horse. If you don’t have enough caps for this project, buy more.
